About the Project

This project focuses on the strategic & research driven revamp of Jio Home which is a centralized control app for Jio’s home ecosystem, including internet services and device management. While the app is functionally comprehensive but the experience is system-driven rather than user-driven, leading to usability friction, poor task discoverability, weak interaction confidence and lack of accessibility features.

This case study focuses on UX auditing and redesigning the core interaction flows, specifically:

The goal was to shift the experience from a telecom utility mindset to a consumer-grade smart home control experience.
