Leader Script

Welcome the kids where they are. Keep the tone relaxed and curious.

“We’re really glad you’re here.

Tonight we’re going to do something a little different.

We’re not just going to learn about Jesus.

We’re going to think about how people actually learned Jesus in the Bible.

By walking with him.

By asking questions.

By paying attention.”

Briefly explain the flow of the evening:

• A game that takes us all over the church
• Snacks
• Another game!
• A short lesson and prayer

Set expectations:

• Stay with your group
• There are no wrong answers
• Curiosity matters more than speed

Divide kids into small mixed-age groups. Each group should have at least one leader.
