Sing One Song is making music learning fun and easy - like Duolingo did for languages, starting with voice.
We’re building AI-powered vocal coaching in the form of games and challenges designed to teach songs. Our early playful experiences include:
Vocal DNA Test - analyzes your voice and matches you to artists & songs
**SingShot** - a rhythm game where your voice is the controller
Current online music learning tools are boring and intimidating for casual users. Our mission is to make singing accessible, fun, and habit-forming, and to use AI to create a million new singers.
We are looking for a Founding Visual Designer to shape the visual identity and user experience of our AI-powered vocal coaching games. You will create coherent, delightful consumer UX experiences and design or source game assets for our suite of mobile learning games.
You'll work directly with the founding team and engineers building our games (see Open roles @ SingOneSong) to translate our vision of "productive procrastination" into visually engaging, intuitive experiences that make learning to sing feel like playing your favorite mobile game.
You'll be one of the first hires, working closely with Jacob Singh (ex–Country Head, Acquia Drupal; ex–CPTO, Blinkit, former VC at Sequoia India & Alpha Wave Global).
Consumer UX: Create intuitive, delightful interfaces for our mobile apps that make vocal learning approachable and fun—think Duolingo's polish meets casual gaming aesthetics.
Game Assets: Design, generate, or source visual assets for our games—characters, environments, UI elements, animations, and effects that bring our voice-controlled gameplay to life.
Visual Systems: Establish design systems, style guides, and component libraries that maintain consistency across our product suite while allowing each game to have its own personality.
Onboarding & Flows: Design user journeys that reduce friction and build confidence, especially for beginners who may be intimidated by singing.
Design end-to-end experiences: Own the visual design and UX of our mobile apps from onboarding through core gameplay loops.
Create game assets: Design or source 2D/3D assets, icons, characters, backgrounds, and animations that fit our playful, accessible aesthetic.
