Being asked to leave the ambassador program

It is important to us that ambassadors for NEAR Protocol and everybody who is responsible for growing the ecosystem always act with integrity and in the best interests of the protocol and the other members of the ecosystem. If we believe this is not the case, we may ask you to leave the program. This means you will forfeit the right to any tokens or token rights you may earn, but not to any tokens or token rights you earned up until being asked to leave. Behaviors that may lead to us asking you to leave the program:

Once you have been asked to leave you can no longer talk publicly about NEAR Protocol while representing yourself as an ambassador, publicly use NEAR's promotional materials, or earn tokens for ambassador tasks.

Making a complaint about Near Inc or the ambassador program

If you believe you have been treated unfairly; if you have been banned from some or all of the program, if you have not been assigned tokens you believe you should have been assigned based on the program agreements and the tasks you completed, or if you have some other complaint about Near or its employees or the ambassador program itself, this is the process you can use. You can also use this process if you have a complaint about another NEAR Protocol ambassador, and you tried and been unable to resolve it by discussing the issue with the relevant person directly.

Expect the process to take several weeks, depending on the complexity of the dispute.

Submit a complaint

You can submit a complaint to the Near Inc team using [email protected]. Your complaint may be resolved in your favor simply by providing enough evidence to support your claim, in which case, congratulations, you're done! In the rare case that simply attaching evidence doesn't resolve your issue, we will move forward with discussions to see if we can resolve the problem directly.

Call with a Near team member

If a dispute has not been resolved with attached evidence alone, we will set up a call to discuss it with you. You may bring along one or two additional people who might be needed to back up a claim if relevant. This is an informal conversation, designed to see if we can solve the problem and keep all parties happy. Most of the time, talking it out with us is enough. In rare cases, there may be disagreements between you and the Near Inc member, or the issue may be with the Near Inc member themselves. If your issue was with another NEAR Protocol ambassador, we will get in contact with them to ask them to be present at the call.

Call with a third-party mediator

In this case, we will move to another call with a third-party mediator in order to make sure that all parties are heard appropriately and to get outside help to come to an agreement. This is very unusual and normally most issues are solved long before this stage.
