Once you create your home you'll want to invite some people to join.

You can invite people to join your home by sharing your home's unique invite link, of if you're on your phone, you can send invites to people directly from your contacts.

Note: to invite people to your home via URL, you must follow the below steps and use the invite link generated via the 'Invite People' button. Copying the URL straight from the top of your web browser window won't work (this is a security feature to make sure homeowners maintain control over who can and can't join their space).

Home Invite Links

On Web

  1. After you've created your home, tap the "Invite People" button in the left hand side menu.
  2. Select and copy the link in the window that pops up.
  3. Share this link with your group and potential members (via email, linking in your bio on another social platform, etc.)

On Mobile

  1. From within a home, tap the "Invite People" button in the left hand side menu.
  2. Click "Share Link" to copy the URL (to share it via email, link in bio, on another social platform, etc.) or send it via another app; click "Add from Contacts" to invite people from your phone's contacts list'; or click "Add from Geneva" to invite people from another Geneva home into yours via DM.

Inviting people into specific sets of rooms via Member Groups

The home invite links described above are the simplest way to invite people into your home.

But if you run a big or complex community, you might want to invite people into your space with a more granular level of customization around which rooms in your home different sub-sets of people are added to initially.

For more on how to do this, see Member Groups and Member Group invite links.

We also have an integration with Zapier which allows you to automatically give people access to your community (and specific rooms within it) based on information that lives in another app, CRM, or email database. For more info, see Connecting Geneva to other apps (Membership API / Zapier).
