The Lord has bared his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God” Isaiah 52:10

Working With A-Team

Africa Inland Missions, the mission I will serve under work is directed at UPG's (unreached people groups) - for example the Mwani people, where I will serve.

AIM is in partnership with my sending Church (Covenant Baptist Church Nakuru) to send me out to serve alongside a team to reach the Mwani people.

Our Nampula team is lead by a Brazilian couple. With us, we have are two couples and a single woman from Brazil, a single woman from the USA, a couple from Mozambique, and myself. As a team, our vision is to learn language and culture and we will transition in children’s ministry, sports ministry, and farming with the hope of planting a Mwani speaking reproducing indigenous Christ-centered church.

I will work mainly among women and children. AIM generally encourages that in a Muslim context, women to women and women to children ministry is most effective.

Africa Inland Missions

Africa Inland Mission (AIM) is a Christian mission sending agency with a heart for reaching the unreached people groups of Africa with the gospel of Christ.

To learn more about AIM and the unreached of Africa, please visit my sending office in Capetown through this link. https://aimint.org/za/.

I invite you to visit our website where you will find resources to pray for specific unreached people groups (UPG's) of Africa https://prayafrica.org/.

My Dream

By the time I was in my last year of university, I was certain my life's mission would be to work in a world organization like The UN, that focuses on marginalized people, particularly in Africa. I hoped to work with other like-minded people to reduce poverty, poor sanitation, and hygiene-related illnesses; and ensure that environmental issues such as desertification, deforestation, ocean pollution were resolved.

Salvation Journey

I was raised in a Christian home, but I was not His follower. The depth of my sinfulness was evident when I joined University. However, during my 4th year of studies, God brought friends who were believers in my life and were willing to walk with me, though still in my rebellion.

Shortly after completing my environmental science degree in 2014, I became a believer!

During a discipleship training program, God providentially opened my eyes to see how sinful I was and that there was nothing I could do to reconcile myself to Him unless by His power and grace. My eyes were opened to a whole new world view – a Biblical worldview. God is holy, man is sinful, and man cannot either restore his relationship with God or restore the creation without God!

Then, while reading Brother Andrew’s books, God’s Smuggler and Secret Believer, I was introduced to another aspect of my changing worldview – the world of missions. Aware of how much discipleship continues to play a major role in my personal walk with Christ, I could not begin to imagine how hard it must be for those believers from a Muslim background to face persecution without solid discipleship. As my desire to know God grew, so did my love for believers who rarely have fellowship with other believers.

The Call to Missions

The Mwani people of Mozambique, who follow folk Islam, had been on my heart and in my prayers since 2017. I had first learned about them through the https://joshuaproject.net/.
