Motivation

Time and time again, history is malleable. The lines are blurred and the truth is bent to the bias of the historians. The Interplanetary Camera allows anyone in the world to mint a moment in time. In one snap, they can tokenize real life and contribute it to a decentralized immutable observation of history. The introduction of this technology challenges traditional methods of accounting for our societies, cultures, and existence. It does this in a few ways:

• Immutability - A moment captured with the Interplanetary Camera is forever stored in the history of the world and can not be modified in any such way.
• Accessibility - The Interplanetary Camera app allows for a simple, straightforward, and intuitive experience. The permission less nature of the Interplanetary Camera allows for anyone, in any part of the world to contribute to the immutable history of humanity.
• Decentralization - We all share in creating our history and it shouldn't have a single point of failure. Images taken with the interplanetary camera are stored and distributed far and wide across millions of peers.
• Verifiable Ownership - Any moments capture with the Interplanetary Camera have an a immutable ownership record making them fraud proof.
• Interoperability - Moments captured are tokenized under the ERC721 (NFT) Standard allowing them a frictionless flow through the deep Ethereum ecosystem and any EVM compatible chains.
