Here are the steps to integrate Obsidian with Elephas.

Step 1: Finding Obsidian vault path

You need to know your Obsidian vault path to get started with Elephas integration.

If you're looking for the location of an existing vault, you can right-click on it and choose "Reveal in Finder," or you can use the path displayed in the popup above.

Step 2: Connect Obsidian from the Knowledge Base

  1. In Elephas, select the Super Brain you want to connect.

  2. On the right, open the Knowledge Base and click Add Files or Folders.

  3. In the Add to Knowledge Base window, switch to the Apps tab, then find Obsidian in the list and click Connect.

  4. Next, click on "Select Root Folder” (your Obsidian vault path from the previous step) and click Open to finalize the integration.

Step 3: Explore Contents

To see Obsidian content and status:

  1. Open the Knowledge Base for your brain.

  2. Click the Integrations card under Connected Sources.

  3. Select Obsidian in the list to see indexed files, sync status, and the connected vault folder.

  4. You can also navigate inside the connected folder view to understand what’s being indexed and see file‑level status.
