1. Getting Started with Notion Integration
All blocks, except Letter blocks, support Notion Integration. You can automatically update to Notion the responses or messages collected by the block to the comments. The integration method is different depending on the type of block, so we will check block by block.
Notion integration can be set in the Integrate tab. When Integrate to the Notion for the first time, click the Notion button in Grant Joey access to your Notion workspace. Then when you turn on Connect to Notion Workspace, you will see a dropdown where you can choose either Notion Page or Notion Database depending on the block. For the page, please share the top database with Joey Beta.
Like block updates the value of the like(no "Like") property of a specific page in Notion. Add the like property to 0. If there is no like property, please be careful as it may not be linked and you may perform other actions. Below you can see Image 1 page and the Like block within it. This image 1 page has like as a property. If you have not shared the page with the JoeyBeta bot, please click Invite on Share to add the JoeyBeta bot.
Now go back to Joey and select the page to link to. Press Select Page and wait for a while to display a list of pages that can be conneted. This will display the page title. Select Image1, the page you want to link to, and save the settings.
When the integration setting is completed, the like property of the Notion page changes according to the number of Likes. Like property recommends number and supports number and text.
Comments and Q&A can be received by Integrating comments and replies. The table's title property automatically filled by a unique Response Id. If the table has block_name, creator, content, and parent (in case of reply) properties, they are automatically entered as property. If it is not in the property, it will be entered as text on the page.
