On Oculus Quest

<aside> ☝🏼 Please ensure that boundary/guardian is setup correctly while connecting the Oculus Quest before the ATOM app installation. It is preferable to use a room-scale boundary rather than stationary boundary to get the optimal experience inside the app. Also it is recommended to experience the ATOM app while standing with some mobility rather than sitting. This helps avoid any dizziness/nauseous feeling that the user may feel.

Follow the below steps for first time installation of the ATOM app on Oculus Quest:

1. Go to “Store” on Quest device tool panel. Click on “Apps” and type “Atom” in the search bar

1. The app appears under the “App Lab”. You can “View Details”, click on “Ok” in the screen that follows and proceed to “Download” the app.

1. The download progress bar appears. Once the app is installed, click on “Start”.

1. After the app is installed for first time, it can be accessed from “App Library” thereafter as shown below.

1. When you open the app, you will be asked to grant permissions (just like you would in Android phone or an iPhone). After the permissions are granted, you can use the app as desired.

Using Specific Channels on Oculus Quest

On Lenovo A3

Pre-Requisite

Currently A3 is supported only on these devices - Moto G100, Motorola Edge 30 Pro, Motorola Edge X30, Motorola Edge Plus (2022) 2. Ensure that the “SnapdragonSpacesServices” app and “Atom” app are uninstalled from the handheld device if previously installed. 3. Ensure you gain access to the drive link shared by Imaginate personnel for the installation. 4. From the above shared drive link, download and install the “SnapdragonSpacesServices_[Latest_Version].apk” application on the handset. 5. Always make sure you have the correct version of Snapdragon Spaces Services and Atom correctly available on your phone. While a higher version of Snapdragon’s APK might still allow the Atom app to function, the reverse is not true. If unsure of the which version is available on phone, long press on app and select “App Info” to cross check if the versions are compatible as listed in table below.
