Project Overview:

Eulerity is a marketing automation platform that empowers multi-location brands and franchises to launch localized advertising campaigns, manage social media, and streamline content—all from one centralized SaaS tool. Both corporate franchisors and local franchisees are supported in managing performance across paid media, organic reach, operations data, and more.

As part of Eulerity’s internal tooling initiative, I led the design and data architecture of the Insight Report Builder—a custom reporting interface that allowed internal Customer Success Managers (CSMs), corporate franchisor teams, and franchisees to generate reports directly within the platform.

September 2023 – November 2023

Team:

Partnered closely with Product Management, Frontend Engineering, Backend Engineering, CSMs, Franchisor and Franchisee Stakeholders. Collaborated with Support and Business Operations to ensure user-level clarity and platform-wide data integrity.

Reporting was disorganized, engineering-dependent, and inconsistent across franchise networks.

Before this tool, internal teams relied on one engineer to manually pull customized reports for ~5–10 franchise clients a year. We have other reporting capabilities on our platform but for specific asks, one engineer would spend around 2-4 hours pulling data on our backend and formatting it the way each franchise liked.

These reports were stored in an internal folder called “data pulls” with no templating, no categorization, and no access controls. Worse, every franchise defined success metrics slightly differently—so comparing performance across them was nearly impossible.

Additionally, our platform integrated multiple data types—from advertising, social media, targeting parameters, to operational metrics—making it difficult for any one report to provide a clear, unified picture without significant manual effort.
