THE PROBLEM

By now, the benefits of meditation are well known - less stress, more focus, deeper sleep, more compassion, greater capacity for joy … the list goes on and on. And yet, so many people struggle to meditate consistently, or get confused by the countless techniques and approaches offered.

Most people don’t struggle with meditation because they lack discipline.

They struggle because they’ve never been given a practice that actually fits and evolves with them, and they’ve never been taught in a way that makes their practice something they look forward to, rather than just a chore.

Different minds respond to different approaches — yet most meditation is taught as a single method to follow, often requiring additional financial and energetic investment, and buying in to superfluous beliefs, traditions and gurus. On the other hand, there are a variety of great meditation apps out there with more diversity of techniques, but they still lack the personal guidance that comes with having a teacher.

And when it doesn’t work or stops working after a while, you’re left wondering if you’re the problem, jumping from technique to technique with no rhyme or reason. In a world of endless techniques and gurus promising you “the answer,” this frustrating experience can make one want to abandon the whole project of meditation altogether.

Nor is it a technique tied to a single tradition or dogma.

Instead, I draw from over a decade of experience and 5000+ hours across multiple meditation lineages and modalities to help you discover what actually works for you — your mind, your patterns, your life.
