What is it?

A module that provides indicators to the strategy.

Different classes of indicators:

• Event based: use own exchange data

  • i.e. Any time there’s a big order, track that
  • Assumes that bot can react to a market event in a timely basis

• Bars based

  • RSI
  • Needs OHLCV object (this could be Time bars, Tick bars, Volume bars, Dollar bars)

  Explanation of the difference and why is important to use each one:

  Advanced candlesticks for machine learning (ii): volume and dollar bars

• Sentiment analysis

  • External
  • Combination of different indicators

<aside> 💡 The event based indicators will be covered by the Bot Orchestration HIP. So this project will focus only on constructing the OHLC and adding indicators to it.
