WRITER’S NOTE:
These short stories are written in unison between Tashi (@khian.bsky.social) & I. The style of writing is RP and sectioned as such. Cayto is written by Tashi, and Lohkri is written by me, Cillian.
After Cayto gives into Lohkri's request to stay at his apartment instead of the expensive Ul'dahn hotels, the viper finds himself feeling lonely while occupying his new bed spot on the couch, having given up his actual bed for the mage, and decides to sneak into his bedroom for some sought after cuddles.

🧡🧡 The soft, golden glow of Ul'dah's street lamps warmed the cobblestone beneath Lohkri's feet as he tiredly dragged himself back home to his raggedy apartment. It was in a less ideal part of the city, but it was all he could really afford. The mercenary work paid decently well at times, but the cost of living in Ul'dah was high, and between keeping his weapons up to snuff, bills, and feeding himself, he was barely scraping by. He was lucky that his mother was such a talented seamstress, as she would typically fix his gear for free. But Lohkri would always make sure to tip her of course, even against her wishes to do so. Today was a day when he finally received a rather chunky sum of coin from guiding and protecting a wealthy merchant's caravan down to Vesper Bay. Even the Warrior of Light was too busy to grace themselves in Thanalan again and do the grunt work of keeping the streets clear of common thugs and bandits, so it was up to him to protect his clientele.
Lohkri fished out his keys from his leather jacket and turned the lock to his apartment door, slowly pushing it open and taking a peek around to see if he spotted Cayto still awake. But, alas, he must have retired for the night already.
It was quite late. Glancing around the small living room and into the tiny kitchenette, the sandy-haired man noticed the Keeper must have cleaned up recently. A small smirk wove into his cheeks at that. Cayto was ever the neat-freak.
After the mage temporarily moved in with him, the small apartment looked better than he's ever kept it. It still had a few odd water stains on the ceiling, the wood finish chipping off of the kitchen cabinets, the floors creaky as all get out. Bringing his new partner here for the first time was one of the most nerve-wracking things he’s had to do, and usually he wouldn't give a shit. At least not with any hooker he would bring home with him at times. With Cayto, however, he wanted to have a good first impression, but there was only so much he could do with his lack of money to show the mage he owned decent living quarters. It was embarrassing, to say the least. It only reminded him just how sub-par he really was in life, but to his surprise, Cayto seemed not to care that much. It caught him off guard, wondering if perhaps the Keeper just kept to himself so he didn’t offend him with how bad it looked in here.
