Top dial on the left is brush width, bottom dial is the brush thickness. Color picker is on the right. User paints by clicking and dragging the mouse on a canvas. Camera can be moved with a right-click motion.

Volcano

Even dramatically tall objects can be painted(with great effort). Smoke was added by painting horizontal to the plume.
