<aside> ℹ️ Alexandra is an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia, studying political science and economics. Before coming to Vancouver, she lived in Seoul - South Korea, Williamsburg - Virginia, and Vernon - British Columbia. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and watching copious amounts of The Office. At UBC, she has been involved in several student clubs and organizations including the Political Science Students' Association, the UBC Pre-Law Society, and the editorial board of the Journal of Political Studies. Her areas of interest in the field of political science include legal theory, IPE, and East Asian foreign relations.

I was born in Seoul, South Korea. I came to Canada in 2012 with my mom and two younger siblings, while my dad remained in Korea to work. We did not move to Canada to immigrate, and intended for a temporary stay - so after a few years, my mom and siblings went back to Korea.
I chose to remain in Canada because I was not sure if I could adjust back to the academic system of Korea. I was doing very well in my secondary school by then and did not want a new adjustment period.
