Session Overview

This was a scheduled automated audit of aguiarinjurylawyers.com to identify pages and posts missing WordPress featured images and hero background images. The audit ran on April 13, 2026 via the image-audit scheduled task. The goal: catch any pages or posts that were published without a featured image set in WordPress, which affects Open Graph social sharing previews, schema markup, and RSS feed thumbnails.

What Was Accomplished

The audit queried the WordPress REST API across all 302 published pages (4 API pages of 100) and all 201 published posts (3 API pages of 100). Every page and post was checked for featured_media = 0, which indicates no featured image is set in the CMS.

The audit also spot-checked key pages (homepage, Louisville location page, Full Coverage Myth page, Lexington and Bowling Green reference pages) for functioning hero sections and background images.

Results

Only 2 pages out of 302 are missing a WordPress featured image. Zero posts out of 201 are missing featured images. No broken hero images were detected on any page checked.

Pages missing featured images:

1. Louisville Car Accident Lawyer (Page ID 60606)
   • URL: https://aguiarinjurylawyers.com/locations/louisville/
   • Published: April 10, 2026
   • The page has a functioning hero section with an inline <img> element and dark overlay; the visual appearance is fine
   • The issue is only that the WordPress featured image field is empty (featured_media = 0)
   • This means social sharing (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) will not show a preview image, and schema markup will lack an image
   • Recommended fix: Set featured image to Media ID 45648 ("Location, Louisville Personal Injuries," Louisville-Skyline-5-6.webp) or Media ID 44868 ("Louisville Skyline Ohio River," louisville-skyline-ohio-river-scaled.webp). Both are already in the media library.
2. Why "Full Coverage" Doesn't Mean You're Fully Covered (Page ID 59650)

   • Same situation: hero image on the page works fine, but the WordPress featured image field is empty
   • Recommended fix: Set featured image to Media ID 44918 ("Insurance Profits," Insurance-Profits-scaled.webp) or Media ID 44851 ("Insurance Negotiation," insurance-negotiation-scaled.webp). Both are already in the media library.

Hero / Background Image Spot Check

All checked pages use positioned <img> elements (not CSS background-image), which is good for SEO and accessibility. The hero sections all have functioning dark overlays and responsive sizing (min-height 420px on desktop). No broken hero images were detected.

Decisions Made

• Did not auto-set featured images. This is a read-only audit. Both pages need Sam to confirm which media library image to assign, or the fix can be applied in a future interactive session.
• Used the operational REST API app password (from user preferences) rather than the admin password for all API queries.
• Checked all 503 published content items (302 pages + 201 posts), not just a sample.
