Status: Needs Follow-up | Importance: Medium | Tasks: Pending (4 carried forward, 0 completed)

Daily scheduled run, 5:04 AM ET. Sam not present, autonomous run. No live-site writes were made, so no rollback is needed. Homepage rendered fine: the site is up, this is not an outage.

What was done

Phase 0 and 1 completed: skills preloaded, credentials pulled from Notion "API Keys & App Secrets". Ranked preflight ran in full. The run then degraded to report mode because every write lane and the primary read lane were unavailable.

Write-lane preflight, all four dead:

Read lane: the WP REST API at /wp-json/wp/v2/* returned HTTP 503 on every call after one successful homepage fetch. This is Cloudflare / WAF bot rate-limiting, triggered by a burst of rapid WebFetch probes during preflight. Direct site hits were stopped to avoid deepening the block.

Image-gen lanes were not reached: with no write lane there is no path to upload or PATCH, so generation was not attempted.

Supplementary read lane used: the Ahrefs Site Audit MCP (project 9708957, crawl 2026-05-15) stood in for the blocked REST API. It uses third-party crawl data and does not hit the live site. Image-relevant findings: 3 broken images, 9 pages with a broken image, 3 404 pages, 0 missing alt text reported, site health 36/100 with 541 URLs carrying errors across 845 crawled. These broken-image URLs are not yet mapped to WordPress page IDs.

Outputs written to the Projects folder: image-audit-2026-05-22.csv and image-audit-2026-05-22-report.md.

Carried forward from 2026-05-16 (still Pending, all in scope, none excluded)
