Building an Enterprise Admin Platform from Fragmented Customer Workflows

What it is: A platform case study on building and scaling an enterprise customer admin portal across license assignment, reporting, entitlement visibility, and renewal workflows.

My role: Product strategy, platform ownership, discovery, requirements, stakeholder alignment, telemetry, roadmap definition

Problem

• Enterprise customers needed a clearer way to manage licensed users, assign access, track usage, and understand subscription activity.
• Admin workflows were fragmented across purchase flows, entitlement systems, reporting surfaces, support paths, and internal operations.
• Customer admins often entered the experience after purchase, even though admin setup and license assignment were critical to activation and adoption.
• The platform also needed to support future lifecycle workflows, including renewals, reporting, recommendations, and enterprise account visibility.
