01. Context

ISPT is one of Australia’s largest retail property management funds, managing a national portfolio of approximately 80 shopping centres.

Leasing performance has a direct impact on fund returns. Extended vacancy periods translate into material revenue loss and reduced investor performance.

At the start of the engagement:

ISPT was losing millions in rental revenue annually due to extended vacancy periods.

The issue was not a lack of data.

It was the effort required to turn fragmented data into confident leasing decisions.
