Traditional hiring processes rely heavily on static documents (resumes, cover letters) which are poor predictors of success in dynamic, modern roles that require quick thinking, spatial reasoning, and logical deduction. The challenge is to build a unified, secure platform that:

  1. Differentiates User Experience: Provides tailored dashboards and functionality for Applicants and Recruiters.
  2. Assesses True Cognitive Ability: Uses a gated, timed, and objective gamified assessment to measure core functional skills.
  3. Maintains Data Integrity: Securely stores and presents comprehensive applicant data and performance metrics to the appropriate user roles.

Required Features & Technical Scope

Teams must deliver a web application that fulfills the following mandatory requirements for the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

1. Multi-Role Authentication and Initial Selection System

The user experience must begin with a Role Selection Page where the user chooses their identity from the four available options: Applicant, Employee, Admin, or Client.

After selecting a role, the system directs the user to the corresponding Sign-In Page.

For the scope of this MVP challenge, teams must fully implement the workflows for the Applicant and Admin roles. The other roles should be present in the initial selection but are outside the required MVP scope.

Role Primary Functionality (MVP Scope)
Applicant Profile completion, Game assessment, Progress view.
Admin View applicant data and game scores, track overall pipeline, Leaderboard access.
Employee Out of Scope for MVP
Client Out of Scope for MVP

2. The Comprehensive Applicant Profile

Upon initial sign-in, the Applicant must be forced to complete a detailed profile before accessing the assessment. The profile must capture and store the following fields:

Note: Unique Candidate ID will be generated by the system or provided to the applicant upon sign-in

3. The Gamified Cognitive Assessment Module
