In some cases lag might be happening due to iPad resources becoming clogged up. Please try following things:

• Make sure you're using Safari browser
• Close all other Safari tabs
• Close all other active apps
• Restart your iPad

Alternatively, it might also mean that your canvas has become too complex and can't be fitted in iPad's memory. In order to rule this out:

• Try removing / merging 5-10 layers
• OR alternatively, check if the lag is happening on another, empty canvas, too

Also, we have a "stabilization" feature, which helps to draw smooth stokes, but sometimes it might be perceived as a lag, since it delays time between pen or mouse move, and the actual drawing appearing on the screen. In order to make sure it's not the case, please try disabling stabilization feature and see if that helps.

Last thing to check is if your iPad is in Low Power mode (iPad OS 15 and up). If that's the case, please try Switching off Low Power mode.
