Hello, my name is Angel and in one month I made a business plan for opening an online drop shipping store using Shopify and executed it in 21 days. Below you'll find documentation of the entire process and some self-reflection on the project!
I chose drop shipping because it has been in the back of my mind ever since it became a hot topic a few years ago. I never really sat down and explored it so I challenged myself this month to come up with a plan and make a working store. The first week of the month was used to plan out how to tackle the rest of the month. You can see my project outline here. The second week I looked for products on Amazon’s top selling lists and compiled a list of my own on Oberlo. This was a mixture of kids toys, electronics, and clothes. In the third week I put together the site and did SEO. And finally in the fourth week I ran ads for all three departments and compared them.
