If you don't have matching items to merge and empty tiles on your game board, you can try the following methods to open up some space on your game board:

1. Check if your board has consumable/collectible items. You can collect and remove them from your board by tapping on them. Collectible items are gold (yellow coin), experience points (blue star), energy (lightning), and unlimited life pills (lightning capsule).

2. You can drag items onto the inventory bag icon to store them there. This way, you can open up some space on your game board. If your inventory is full, you can buy new inventory slots by tapping the New Slot button in your inventory.

3)You can sell an item to open up space but be careful what you sell. Some items are pretty rare. Try to sell the common items (like sponges) to open up space. Please click on an item to sell it, then check the info box above the game board. You will see a 'Sell' button at the top right corner of it. 4) You can use your gold or a chain breaker (orange pliers) to unlock a chained item and sell it to open up space.

• If you want to use your gold to break the chain, tap on your item, then tap on the sell button at the top right corner of your game board.
• If you want to use your chain breaker, please drag it onto the chained item.

Note: Inventory is locked in the game's early stages, and you cannot see the sell button. It's rare, but you may be locked in this state. We recommend you uninstall and reinstall your game to reset your progress for such a case. These are very early stages of the game, so don't worry you will have plenty to discover and progress.
