What I Actually Did

Nothing fancy. I took my last 12 months of raw financial documents — credit card statements, checking account statements, Wise statements, invoices, everything — and dumped them into a folder.

Then I ran one command in Claude Code: /accounting

That's it. It read every PDF. Every page. Every transaction. And it built me a full financial report I can open in my browser. We're talking:

• Total revenue, net profit, total expenses — all calculated automatically
• $564,000 in expenses categorized across 10 different categories
• Monthly credit card spending shown in a visual chart
• A full audit of every single subscription I'm paying for
• Recommendations on which subscriptions to cancel and which to review
• An official P&L statement
• How much I paid myself in dividends
• How much I owe (or I'm owed) on my tax return

All from raw PDF bank statements. No accounting software. No manual data entry.

The Subscription Audit Is the Game-Changer
