HyperFocus (hereinafter referred to as "the App" or "Service") values your privacy. In accordance with our philosophies of "Zero Friction" and "No Shame," we operate on a principle of minimal data collection. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can manage your data.
1. Information We Collect
We do not require Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your real name, phone number, or physical address to use the App.
A. Automatically Collected Information (Anonymous Basis)
When you use the App, the following information may be automatically generated and collected:
- Anonymous User ID (UUID): A random unique identifier assigned to allow service usage without registration.
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, language/region settings, and time zone.
- Usage Data: Focus session records (start/end times, completion status) and in-app feature usage statistics.
- Crash Logs: Technical logs generated when the App crashes or encounters errors.
B. Information You Provide Voluntarily (Account Linking)
If you choose to use "Sign in with Apple" for data backup and cross-device synchronization:
- Apple ID Identifier: A unique identifier provided by Apple.
- Email Address: If you select "Hide My Email," we collect the proxy email address generated by Apple.
2. How We Use Your Information
The collected information is used solely for the following purposes:
- Service Provision: To operate the timer, save focus records, provide statistics, and synchronize data across devices.
- Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and optimize App performance.
- Customer Support: To respond to user inquiries and deliver notices.
