How we work at Wissen LMS Team

🕑Minimum Commitment for Developers: 10 hours/week. 🏗️Type of Work Environment: Fully Remote (All meeting happen on Google Meet).

Onboarding Meetings: 👥 A meeting with PM about project scope and overall product roadmap.

👥 A meeting with Tech Lead about getting onboarded to our codebase repositories.

Weekly Meetings: 👥Weekly Stand-Ups: Wednesdays 10:30 pm ET.

Each team member updates and demos the team on they have done in the last week.
You will be required share screen during the video call to demo your work.
Mention any blockers you may have to get help from other team members.
Not appropriate for long technical discussions—we will move those issues to other specialized meetings.

👥Weekly Front-end Team Meeting: Sundays at 10 am ET.

Meeting is led by Frontend Lead developer.
All Frontend developers are required to attend.
All frontend related issues are discussed, including blockers and other technical problems.

👥Weekly Back-end Team Meeting: Tuesdays 8 pm ET.

The meeting is led by backend lead developer.
All backend developers are required to attend.
All backend related issues are discussed, including blockers and other technical problems.

👥Biweekly Backlog Grooming: Every other Wednesdays from 11 pm ET.

👉🏼We expect team members to notify their managers if they can't make it to a meeting.

Communication and tasks:

👉🏼Use ClickUp to track all tasks

👉🏼Each "Module" is assigned to at least 2 team members. Tasks are divided into API, UI and Integration. We also have a board just for reporting Bugs.

👉🏼Use Slack channel #GMH-Platform to ask all questions and address blockers.

👉🏼All team updates will also be posted on the #GMH-Platform channel.

👉🏼We recommend asking questions in the channel rather than DMs as it will allow multiple team members a chance to help you solve your blocker.

👉🏼Fill out weekly "Weekly Debrief" Document every week before the weekly standup meeting (Excel File)

👉🏼The meetings happen on Google Meet.
