This guideline is aimed at the technical advanced customers of The STIN DISTILLER'S CUT. By following the next steps you can verify the integrity of your own bottle of gin without relying on our services. We offer this guide to you, in order to be fully open and transparent.

1.) Scan the Chip

There are two ways how you can get the public key of the contactless chip on your DISTILLERS'S CUT bottle.

• You can use our accompanying apps for Android and iOS to scan the chip.

<aside> 💡 Our app also performs a background check and "challenges" the chip on the bottle, in order to ensure that the chip also holds the private key to the according public key.

• If you are really technically advanced you can also skip our apps for this step and get a contactless reader for your PC or Mac (like this one: Identiv uTrust 3700) and use the software provided by Infineon for communicating with the SECORA$^{TM}$ contactless chip provided here. You will need to read out the public key of the first slot of the contactless chip.

2.) Copy the Public Key

Copy the public key from the mobile app using the provided button or copy it from the Infineon application.

3.) Go to the Blockchain Transaction

You can go to the corresponding blockchain transaction again via different options:

• Use the provided button in the mobile app.

4.) Search for your Key

Yeah we know, block explorers are not the user friendliest websites. But you have chosen to go down this path on your own, so don't give up now!
