1. On your dashboard click on the payment links menu

2. To the top right of this page, click on the 'New payment link' button

3. A pop-up will load asking you to choose between 'One-time payment', 'Subscription payment'. Select 'one-time payment'.

   

   One can select one time payment or subscription (Recurring payments)

4. A form will appear for you to provide details on your payment link, complete these fields to your specifications and click 'Create'.

5. Congratulations, you have successfully created a payment link for one-time payments

<aside> 💡 When choosing a title for your payment link, it's a good idea to make the name descriptive since it's public. For the description Provide a clear description that provides more information to your customer. Give a compelling description of the product or service, anything that compels customers to buy

Tips to fill out the fields on the payment link

• Page Name - This is the title at the top of your Payment link. It's public, so it's a good idea to make the name descriptive (eg. Navy Blue laptop bags)
• Description - Complete this option to provide more information to your customer. This is a good place to give a compelling description of the product or service.
• Image - This section allows you to upload an image of the product being sold or a promotional image that will be seen by customers when making a payment on the payment link. Always use a clear image that shows your product the best
• I want to collect a fixed amount for this page - By default, Payment links allow the customer to enter any amount they want (this is good for collecting donations, for example), but if you'd like to specify a price that you'd like everyone to pay, click this checkbox. You'll be able to enter a fixed price amount

• I want to collect phone numbers on this page - By default, Quickteller Business collects the email addresses of all customers. Clicking this checkbox will include a mandatory phone number field that the customer will need to fill out.
• I want to collect extra information on this page - Enabling this option allows you to collect extra information from your customers e.g. A delivery address, ID numbers
• Payment link status - Allows you to enable or disable a payment link
