We made this page to empower the community to translate video content and make subtitles - enabling everyone to spread credible information about Ukraine as much as possible.
- COMPLETELY ONLINE, IN BROWSER, NO INSTALLATION REQUIRED
- Go to https://www.kapwing.com/studio/editor (you can register for free and have 3 videos a month watermark-free with other minor bonuses like saved font settings)
- There are limitations on the maximum video length and other parameters, see https://www.kapwing.com/pricing for more details
- Click “+ add Media” on the left
- Paste link (to get Twitter video links: right click → ”Copy video address”) or upload file, wait until upload finishes.
- Select the uploaded video (you will see the track in the bottom part of the screen)
- Go to Subtitles tab at the top
- Adjust number, content and duration of subtitle segments as needed
- Click DONE at the bottom right
- Click Export Project at the top right
- Select desired options (defaults work fine for most cases)
- Hit Export as MP4
- Wait until finished, then hit Download file
- You can hit Edit a copy at this point you’ve remembered that you missed or wanted to change something
