Here are some things to keep in mind when you first start monitoring and interpreting the performance of your app(s).
Baseline numbers
Before launching your app, it's helpful if you have data that can answer these questions:
- How many products do you currently sell (before the existence of new app) within this particular segment?
- What's the current conversion rate in this category?

💡 Example:
If you're creating an app for headphones, it's good to have a baseline of how many headphones (that are also part of your app) you currently sell per week or month.

Interesting numbers to monitor after launch
- How many products did you sell in total within this segment in a certain period (e.g. week)?
- And how many of these can be attributed to your app?
- What is the total turnover that you have realized within this segment in the same period?
- And how much of this can be attributed to your app?
- What other pages on your website do users of your app visit?
- Are they still browsing a lot of pages after they've visited one of the advice URL's? This might indicate they're not so sure about the advice.
