Operators define the reasons for interruptions. It's possible for the users to be notified in real-time via SMS, Email or Mobile app push notification whenever a specific interruption reason has been defined. The solution can be used for fast acting or increasing the transparency on specific reasons.

Configuration

Open Passport Interruptions settings and select an interruption reason.

Navigate to Notification settings, select the user(s) to be notified and the type of notification.

Note that to be able to receive SMS the phone number of the user must be configured in Passport Users settings

If "Minimum interruption duration to send notification" value is set then the notification is only sent out when interruption duration is longer than the set value in minutes.

Good to know

In case SMS type is selected then in Passport My profile every user can set the "Do not disturb hours" when the notifications will not be sent to them
