1) Download a wallet

You’ll need one to make an account on Catalog. You can install:

• Rainbow or Coinbase Wallet on your mobile device
• Rainbow or Coinbase Wallet as a desktop browser extension
• Brave users may require additional configuration for some wallets like MetaMask

It's common to use two wallet addresses; one for your public identity and a private one that you keep secret. You can create multiple addresses using the same wallet. Learn more here.

2) Create your wallet

Follow the instructions in Rainbow or Coinbase to create a wallet. For additional support, check out Rainbow’s learning center.

3) Back up your secret recovery phrase

The secret recovery phrase lets you recover your wallet if you lose access. Write it down on paper, make a copy, and store them in separate, secure places you’ll remember.
