Here are a few tips to write a great tagline:

#1 Keep it Short and Simple:

You should be able to describe yourself in one line in less than 12-15 words. For a detailed description of yourself, you have the "About me" description to express yourself. The goal is to highlight what quality, skills, and experience will be valuable for the student. You have to think from the perspective of the student or parent. Anything longer will defeat the purpose of a great tagline.

Here are some questions that can get your brain formulating a great tagline:

• If one of your students can describe you in one sentence, what would they say?
• If there is one promise you can make to parents hiring you, what would that be?
• If there is something that separates you from the rest of the tutors on the platform, what would that be?

Use Keywords That Relates To Your Audience

You may be teaching lots of subjects, but you want to focus on one particular issue or area seriously.

• For Example, as a math teacher, you want to focus on Algebra or Calculus, you can include those in profile title. Alternatively, an English Teacher can focus on English Advanced or Standard.
• You can also weave in your years of experience into your tagline. E.g. "8 Years Experience teaching Physics."
• Or describing your teaching experience: e.g. "Making Math’s and English, fun, challenging and practical."
• You can also create bold statements to help your students achieve their goals. E.g. "ATAR 95+ tutor that can help you achieve a high ATAR"
