UPR lives on the xDAI Ethereum sidechain and you will need the xDAI native token to buy UPR. Once you have xDAI you can buy UPR on https://token.intercreativity.io.

Getting DAI

xDAI native tokens are minted by locking DAI tokens on the Ethereum Mainnet. The DAI token is a stablecoin from the Ethereum ecosystem whose value is pegged to the USD. 1 DAI costs ~1USD.

There are many ways to get DAI. Metamask has a swap function that will let you convert ETH or other tokens into DAI very easily.

Converting DAI to xDAI

Once you have DAI on the Ethereum Mainnet, you can lock DAI tokens and receive xDAI tokens on the xDAI sidechain. You can do this from https://bridge.xdaichain.com/.

Getting UPR

Once you have xDAI you should

• head to https://token.intercreativity.io/,
• connect your wallet to the xDAI chain (here is how),
• choose how much UPR you want to buy.

The cost will depend on how many UPR tokens on sale are still remaining. Once you have decided the amount, you will need to execute 3 txs:

• Wrap your xDAI as a wrapped xDAI ERC20 token.
• Approve the UPR smart contract to spend the wrapped xDAI that will be needed to buy UPR.
• Buy the UPR.

Fortunately, in the xDAI sidechain, each transaction costs a few cents and takes 5 seconds to be mined.
