You have 3 main roles:

• Technician (Programmer, Marketer, Designer)
• Manager (Make sure things are executed, efficiently and on time)
• Entrepreneur (See into the future and share the vision with others)

<aside> 💡 All these roles are vastly different but in a small team or as a Solopreneur, often one person has to do it all.

If you’re a good developer or marketer and you think starting a business means you get to do more of what you love, I have bad news for you.

But in order to succeed you need to learn to balance all 3.

• [ ] Schedule time for each role every week
• [ ] Don’t neglect either one
• [ ] Figure out what you want to achieve How to figure out what you want
• [ ] If you don’t have a vision for your company, create one
• [ ] If you don’t have systems for your company, create them
• [ ] If you spend too much dreaming in the clouds, favor execution
• [ ] Just make sure to spend time on each role every week and you’ll be smarter about your business than 99%
