Do you have a set of regular questions you ask each guest? Put them below.
When you interview a guest, you want to give them a chance to talk about the core expertise and go to topics but also to ask them a question or two they don’t normally get asked. When you ask an unusual question, you increase the likelihood that they will share your show and it will stand out from the rest of the interviews they do.
Look on their website (especially FAQs) and their social profiles. Are there topics they often discuss.
Look for their common topics in their bio, and look for cross-over points with your topic. This may provide a unique combination they don’t usually talk about.
If your topics are too similar, you can look for another crossover.
Many people only get to talk in general details. Can you go deeper into their topic than they usually go? Perhaps talking about the reasons behind an idea or the details of a strategy.
