The Overlay feature in VN lets you easily create stylish transitions or overlay visual effects such as light leaks, sparkles, and grain. You can use Overlay materials provided by VN, or import your own from platforms like Instagram, YouTube, or Pinterest. Simply select the photo or video clips you want to use, and VN will automatically detect the colors and apply the effect.

How to Find

  1. Go to Pinterest or Instagram and search for Overlay.
  2. Download the Overlay materials you like.

How to Use External Overlay

  1. Open VN and tap the [ + ] button, then tap the [Overlay] button.

  2. Tap the [ + ] icon and import your downloaded Overlay.

  3. Tap [Add], VN will detect how many clips are needed.

  4. Select your preferred photos or videos and tap [Next].

  5. Drag to reorder the clips, then tap [Export] to save.

02. How to Use Overlay Materials Available in VN

  1. In VN’s Overlay section, browse the Overlay materials provided by VN.

  2. Select the one you like and tap the [Use] button.

  3. Choose your photo/video clips and tap [Next] to auto-compose.

  4. Drag to reorder the clips, then tap [Export] to save.
