⚠️ Before you start

Keep it general. Do not add sensitive personal information to your Project instructions or files. This includes your home address, passport number, SIN, credit card details, or anything you would not write on a sticky note at the office. Treat it like a shared work document.

First, a quick glossary

Before you dive in, here are the three things you will be setting up inside your Project. Plain English, promise.

📋 Instructions

This is where you tell your AI who it is working with and what this Project is about. Think of it like the first message you would send a new assistant on their first day. "Here is what we are working on, here is what matters, here is how I like things done." The AI reads this every time you open the Project. It never forgets it.

Example:

"We are planning a 10-day trip to Italy for my 40th birthday. My budget is $5,000 CAD. I want a mix of culture, food, and some downtime. I do not like overly touristy spots."

🏷️ Description

This is a short label for yourself. It helps you find the right Project when you have several on the go. Your AI does not read this one. Think of it as the name on the folder.

Example:

"Italy trip planning, June 2026"

📁 Files

You can drop documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, or notes directly into your Project. Your AI can read them and use them to give you better answers. No copy-pasting needed.

Example:

A Google Doc with your travel wishlist, a budget spreadsheet, a list of restaurants you saved on Instagram.
