How BanklessDAO Uses Discord: Workshop

This session will cover introductory Discord topics to address the many questions received in the DAO Discord from people new to the platform and the DAO.

Target Audience

People who would like to better understand use of the Discord platform and the information contained in it to maximise their ability to contribute to the DAO.

Resources / Logistics

• The ‘ask a mentor’ voice channel - can we do channel setting as everyone muted?
• Dedicated text channel for the workshop - attendees will practice posting, replying, tipping, creating threads etc.This can also act as the place for attendees to post their questions - that way there is a log and any questions not answered in the session can be followed up.
• Pre and post poll set up in the text channel - to assess confidence before and after the session.
• Dummy calendar event for attendees to find in the Calendar channel and respond to.
• Possible small tip (from program budget) to registered attendees - see this idea.
