This document provides a specification of how Formaviva works.
Formaviva enables artists an easier way to share and sell their music. Managing music is done through a label or artist profile, which has permission to create a release and upload music.
The platform works in the same way as Bandcamp, with some minor differences and improvements in the user purchasing flow.
The seller (a label or an artist) is responsible for shipping the physical products they sell on the platform. The digital purchases are all handled by the platform.
The platform enables both digital and physical music purchases. For each sale on the platform, Formaviva takes a fixed 10-15% fee.

Formaviva enables an easy and friendly way of purchasing physical products.
When a user purchases music on Formaviva, the seller (label or an artist) receives a notification of the sale. In case the purchase is a physical item, the seller also receives the buyer's details.
