In our workday, we often have to communicate with people outside our teams, be that clients or external stakeholders. You can make that process seamless and asynchronous using VoiceLine—even if the recipient doesn’t have an account!

Before you start

<aside> 💡 You will need a VoiceLine account. If you don’t have one yet, ask your team members to invite you or sign up to our waitlist. You will need to complete the following steps at app.getvoiceline.com.

Getting started

  1. Start with a VoiceLine you have already recorded in any space within the Hub. Learn how to record a VoiceLine here.
  2. Press the 3 dots at the bottom right corner of the VoiceLine and select share link. This copies a link to your VoiceLine to your clipboard.

  1. Paste the link into any document on Google Chrome, either as a comment or directly into the document. This can be a Notion page, a Jira ticket, a Google Doc, etc.

  1. Open the VoiceLine by pressing the yellow play arrow ▶ on the link or by hovering over it and selecting open VoiceLine. Once you’ve opened the VoiceLine, you can play it by selecting the yellow play arrow ▶ next to the profile picture.

💡Hint: You can jump to different parts of the VoiceLine by clicking on the corresponding word in the transcript!
