The VoiceLine Hub allows you to seamlessly send hybrid voice-to-text communication to all of your contacts.

This article will:

• Show you how to record and send a VoiceLine in your hub.

Before you start

<aside> 💡 You will need a VoiceLine account. If you don’t have one yet, ask your team members to invite you or sign up to our waitlist. You also will need to complete all of the following steps on app.getvoiceline.com.

1. Open a space and click the recorder at the bottom of the screen. Once Listening... appears, you can start recording your message!

Please note that one VoiceLine is limited to 60 seconds.

1. You can press pause ⏸ anytime to pause the recording and edit the transcript using the edit ✏️ button. Pressing the microphone🎙 restarts the recording.

Alternatively: Hit the bin 🗑️ on the left to delete the recording and restart.

1. Once you’ve finished speaking, either press the yellow send button to send the message right away.

Or: press pause ⏸ to stop recording and check the transcript. You can then click edit ✏️ to change the transcript, if necessary. Press save to save your changes before hitting send.

<aside> 💡 No matter which recording flow you choose, keep in mind that you will now always need to hit pause before you send your VoiceLine if you want to review and/or edit your transcription text. If you hit send, you will be able to skip the review and edit, and only see the text after your message has been sent.

1. You can also reply directly to a VoiceLine by clicking the arrow at the bottom right of the message.
