How do I get setup to host watch parties on Playback (Beta)?

After you have applied and been accepted to our Creator Partner Program getting setup to host on Playback is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

• [ ] Join our Discord

  • We will set up a private channel so you can communicate directly with our team regarding watch party scheduling, product requests, feedback, etc. You will also get access to product announcements and conversation with our creator community. Please email [email protected] with your Discord username once you have joined so we can get you set up!

• [ ] Create your room and add moderators

• [ ] Schedule your watch parties with our team in Discord

  • Using your private Discord channel, let us know what events you plan on hosting and we will handle the streaming! We ask that you let us know as soon as you can, and ideally you will allow yourself 24+ hours to promote the watch party. With that being said there is no deadline here - even if the event is in progress feel free to ping us and we will get a stream in your room ASAP! We will start scheduled streams in your room 15-30 minutes prior to the event start time (Note: we eventually plan on letting creators stream content on-demand).

How often should I host?

This is entirely up to you! What we can say is that having a regular cadence seems to resonate well with audiences. If your audience knows that you will be hosting every Tuesday, for example, they are likelier to have your watch party top of mind on Tuesdays. We are after quality over quantity here, but consistency is key.
