For aligned engagements, I prepare a clear scope of work and contract that outlines deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and communication norms. This document becomes our single source of truth and eliminates ambiguity upfront.

4. Onboarding & Setup

Once scope is confirmed, I set up shared working spaces and documentation—typically Notion for project tracking, Google Docs for collaboration, and Loom for walkthroughs or updates. Access, roles, and expectations are clarified early for a smooth start.

5. Execution & Communication

Work begins using a documentation-first, asynchronous approach. Progress is shared through structured updates, with decisions and key discussions recorded for transparency. Meetings are minimal and purposeful—used only when real-time discussion adds value.

6. Review & Closure

At agreed milestones or engagement end, outcomes are reviewed against the original scope. Key decisions, learnings, and next steps are documented. The engagement is then either closed cleanly or extended based on mutual agreement and clear objectives.
