Based on our documented approach to membership, we will be thinking through a strategy of how to transition Builders who decide they are ready to become Alumni of the Dream DAO.
The Dream DAO is meant to onboard young leaders to and help them find their home in web3. The Dream DAO should not be an individual's primary place of web3 payment, employment, or responsibility long-term. We want to make sure that we keep groups of Builders relatively small so that we can provide maximum resources and opportunity to those members.
Think of Alumni as something between a Champion and a Builder. Becoming an “alumni” of the Dream DAO should be an honor- people who we are proud to say are “success stories” of the Dream DAO. They will no longer receive the resources/opportunities available to Builders- like sponsored trips or internship placement.
Alumni do not have any specific obligations/hourly commitments to Dream DAO once they obtain the status. They volunteer their time when they are willing/able.
