It is within our mission and goal to support better educational habits, students, and teachers alike with the use of School Buddy. Using our platform to cheat, cut-corners, provide answer keys and sell non-educational resources is disheartening and does not align with our values and vision. We have measures in place to reduce the risk of breaking this mission, but unfortunately some people slip past. It is our duty to act on these violations and take the proper steps necessary to remove the harmful content off of our platform. We expect all School Buddy users and merchants to follow our Community Guidelines while using the Service and to agree to our Honors Code before selling our using the platform.
These are your wonder years in life. Don’t ruin them by getting caught cheating and cutting corners. School Buddy isn’t in place to help you cheat, it’s here to help you learn and improve your student life. When uploading content to the School Buddy Marketplace, make sure you have the rights to do so and it isn’t copy written (or classified) course material. While uploading notes and study materials may be fine in some classes, others would prefer that you keep these private and do not distribute them to the world. If you’re unsure if you’re allowed to, check with the teacher! However, this choice is up to you. Is it worth the risk getting in trouble for?
We are not responsible for any actions that are caused by the platform. Always be sure to check with your school and teachers about the policy on sharing course materials.
The School Buddy Marketplace is a great way for you to share and distribute educational material with other educators around the world! If you create a worksheet, feel free to post it for sale and share the URL with the world! You can even make some extra $$$ while teaching for these resources! As with the students, make sure you have the rights to the material.
