Overview

Home Keeper ("the App") is a household item and chore tracking app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it's used, and your choices.

The short version: Your household data (items, chores, grocery list) stays on your device. We don't have servers, we don't have accounts, and we don't receive your household content. Limited telemetry may come from Google AdMob (free tier) and Firebase diagnostics/analytics, including consent-gated onboarding profiling categories.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is created and stored locally on your device:

• Tracker items (names, categories, intervals, due dates)
• Grocery list items and purchase details
• History logs of completed actions
• Your preferences (notification time, display name)
• Onboarding questionnaire categories (pain point, household size, room-count range)

This data is not accessible by us as household content. It lives on your iPhone, and if you delete the App, this local data is permanently removed.

Exception: if you authorize tracking consent, we may send onboarding questionnaire categories (pain point, household size, room-count range) plus a pseudonymous app user identifier to Firebase Analytics for product analytics (see "Analytics and Diagnostics").

Advertising (Free Tier)

The free version of Home Keeper displays non-intrusive advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA), if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt
• IP address (used for approximate location-based ad targeting)
• Device information (model, operating system version)
• App usage data (session duration, screens viewed — anonymized and aggregated)
