Every Impalan everywhere has 36 days of Leave inclusive of their local public holidays. Period. 💟

Holiday allowance is broken down as:

• Public holidays in your locale (automatically booked off for you in HiBob)
• Additional time off = 36 days minus the number of PH days in your region (book off whenever you want!)

Why not Unlimited?

We very intentionally don't set unlimited holidays. Why? Because research suggests that unlimited holiday = people end up taking less time off!

It also can create unfair disparity between group members.

So 36 days is our recommended generous amount of holiday days (it's in the top 14% in the UK) and it ensures a fair and consistent holiday calendar for all, which folks will actually take.

Holiday Flexibility

Any Impalan can request to swap out a public holiday in their locale with another public holiday that aligns with their own religion, culture or background.

For example, id any Impalans in the UK celebrate Ramadan over Christmas. They should be able to take that time off instead!
