I’m a recent double-degree international relations and arts (majoring in Japanese) graduate with a wildly diverse range of experience.
…Wild, I hear you ask? Well, I have over ten years of on-air experience in radio even more experience in music production and performance, numerous customer-driven retail roles, stakeholder support, worked as a public servant for the Australian Government, tertiary education and administrative student support.
But what’s next? I’m investigating post-graduate research opportunities into East-Asian politics, have taken up photography as a hobby and (am still considering) returning to some form of music production.
I’m always looking for a new challenge.

Between 2008 and 2018, I produced music under the alias “Shane Cross” and released trance, progressive and electronic music independently and on various record labels, including Max Freegrant’s “Big Toys Production” and Freegrant Music, Midnight Aura, Cloudland Music and Couture. Although I no longer frequently produce music like I used to, I continue to make music under a new alias for fun and may dip back into this in the future. Never say never, right?

I volunteered on Adelaide’s youth-driven community radio station Fresh 92.7 (Fresh Broadcasters Incorporated) for about ten years in varying capacities - for example volunteering at music and community events and assisting with technical radio broadcast. My most substantial role on radio, however, was hosting one of the stations longest running radio shows: Global Trance, which after five hundred episodes became Your Unity - which continues to broadcast to this day and remains one of the stations most popular specialist music shows.
